The following sites are directories that allow consumers to add reviews to the profiles of any business. The following list is especially important because Google will take reviews from these sites and add them to the collection of reviews on Google Places. Of course the reviews will help prospective customers feel that they can trust your brand, however, and perhaps more importantly Google Places will trust your business name more as well (this is important because they want to give higher rankings on Google Maps/Places to the businesses they trust). When you do this it is not the strength of the review that Google is looking for but how many sites/sources are there that verify that your company is legitimate. Be sure that when you add a profile to each of the following sites that you use the same address, phone number, web address, business name, etc. If these items match from several sources – Google will feel much more comfortable ranking you in the coveted #1 spot.
